Executive Identity: The Identity Transfer | Pasha Paroh

One would observe the title Executive
comes from the word execute, which means to carry out.

“I’ve outgrown the identity that everyone else still expects me to perform.”

But who is everyone?

What should you do next?
Who seeks the title must accept identity.

Governance can only take you as far as you will yourself,
Accessory.

Who must you become for the next level to spawn and stabilize,
Successfully?

There is the passion of the leader.
Each level of growth, requires a different identity.

Not a new you:
When old friends say they miss the old you,
what have you become, antigravity?

πŸ•°οΈ (Time compounds.)

In the preface:
Growth often requires becoming unfamiliar.

Years, warning thunder lightning when I leave 3M it will be time to go.

Sight, seeing, the only plan was to stop protecting the old me,
I left April 2021 and the reports say that May 2021 and so
began 3M’s stock declining by approximately 55–60%…

A Spin Off follwoed that became 17 months of dominos falling
that looked somethings like this.

[ 3M (???–2024 at the site) β†’ Solventum (April 1, 2024) β†’ Thermo Fisher Scientific (September 2, 2025). In just 17 months ]

Historically typical 3M.

Ownership can change faster than identity.

Organizations don’t scale when buildings change ownership. They scale when people recognize the identity the next level requires.

The Identity Transfer

The Logo Changed Before the People Did.
The Plant Did Not Move. The Meaning Did.

Perhaps the hardest thing an executive ever executes isn’t a strategy. It’s the willingness to stop performing yesterday’s identity.

That’s why I Create the ‘unmistakable’ you.
