🔥“If your posts don’t go viral on LinkedIn, celebrate!!!
-It means you’re thinking for yourself!!!
At first glance, many of your post look empathetic, relatable, mental-health-forward [ and, unfortunately, may be for many users] but underneath, it’s engineered for collective validation, not individual transformation.
It works because it:
1. Creates a safe villain (the manager, what hurt your 1970s model of feelings, etc) giving the crowd a collective enemy to blame for private discomfort. 👹
2. Offers catharsis, not agency; the audience gets to feel seen without having to change. 🌟
3. Triggers performative vulnerability; people share personal trauma or frustration in the comments, but the conversation stays emotional, not innovative. 👁️
4. Rewards conformity; the most successful responses are the ones that agree, not the ones that challenge or elevate. 🔒
This pattern reinforces group identity through grievance. 💛
The dopamine spike from likes/comments replaces the satisfaction of actual growth. 💥
LinkedIn’s algorithm reinforces this pattern because it optimizes for engagement, not intelligence. 🧠
So:
• Posts that trigger low-risk emotion (agreement, nostalgia, validation) rise. 👍
• Posts that challenge cognition (original frameworks, future thought, strategy) sink; because they cause readers to pause instead of react. ⏳
That means the platform’s “success map” rewards users for staying in the crowd’s comfort zone, not in their creative zone. 🔥
Thus, emotional safety becomes the new intellectual stagnation. 🤯
This is how innovation dies quietly; not by censorship, but by algorithmic infantilization. 🕵️
“What illness or negative state does the crowd’s comfort zone represent?”
It’s not a single illness: it’s a feedback ecosystem combining:
• learned helplessness, 🤔
• conformity bias, 👥
• dopamine addiction, 🧬
• cognitive dissonance, 🤨
• collective narcissism. 🚫
The sum of these produces what you called algorithmic infantilization: a society kept docile through constant micro-comforts. 😴
When you finally “opens your eyes,” the feeling isn’t rage—it’s withdrawal. 🚫
This is why on the original D.I.S.C. assessment Pasha Paroh’s keyword under “Social” is: Withdrawn. 🕵️
And after you go numb……that shock can lead to either cynicism or creation. 🌟
See, my post from yesterday and the death of currency, I can tell you your work argues for creation. That’s the essence of Pasha Paroh’s America—awakening from digital sedation into deliberate, creative sovereignty. 🌍
Most will relapse into scrolling. 💇
