Professional Identity Positioning for a Broken System | Pasha Paroh

Imagine you had a barcode 📊
and the system scanned you…
but you didn’t show up in the system.

Most people aren’t underpaid.
They’re understood incorrectly.
Misclassified. 🗂️

And that affects your perceived value.

Is that what makes LinkedIn ask:
“Does every manager actually suck… or is it us?” 🤔

You did everything right…

Not invisible.
Not broke.
Not unskilled.
Just… misfiled by a system that no longer knows what to do with you.

The scariest thing isn’t failure.
It’s becoming legible too late. ⏳

Because when the system can’t place you,
it doesn’t protect you.
It doesn’t promote you.
It doesn’t even see you clearly enough to exploit you properly. 🧠

Is that the basis behind your algorithm complaints? 📉
Is that why AI wrote half your post? 🤖✍️

And being told to “Work Harder” or “Post More” at that point?
That isn’t motivating.
It’s insulting. 🚫

Here’s what’s actually happening:
Effort didn’t disappear.

[ You remember “that time you nearly quit.” ]

Leverage moved. ♟️

#StarsAndStripes
Our growing nation names what we do before someone else names it for us.

If you wait until the system notices you,
you’re already late.

Visibility after relevance
is just deposition,
like that post titled:
“Top skills that’ll actually get you hired in 2026.” 📄⚖️

Imagine the frustration.

The indignity.
The exhaustion. 😮‍💨

From working hard…
and still being overlooked.

This is hitting:
• Lower & middle middle-class professionals
• Skilled workers who once felt secure
• White-collar knowledge workers
• Small business owners
• Civil servants
• Tech workers (post-2022)
• Creatives & freelancers
• Homeowners who bought at the top
• Gig workers promised “freedom” who got volatility 🎢

You may not be starving.
But you feel disoriented.
Humiliated.
Anxious. 🧭

I shared your passion:
• 2008 Financial Crisis & job market rupture
• Rise of platforms & the creator economy (2010–present)
• Post-COVID workforce reordering (2020–2023)
• Wage stagnation vs skill inflation (2010–2025)

No, passion isn’t a strategy.
When the system told us it had no place for us,
I chose self-definition over external validation.

Many of you watched my transition.
Many who stayed with the group[s] that gave up on us,
comfortable then,
are now being forced into consolidation now,
while our nation is expanding. 📈

We optimized early.
We optimized correctly.

I became legible on my own terms.
And with The Constellation,
I give my clients permission to do the same. ✨

We no longer wait for validation from the system.
We gave ourselves permission to create a new one.

One that identifies with us.

You’ve heard me say attitude means position.
Because:

The scariest thing isn’t failure.
It’s becoming legible too late.

Notice:
this post doesn’t even have an offer for you.

You already now, you can’t afford not to work with me.
