The system doesn’t reward truth first.
It rewards what feels easiest to accept.
If you’ve outgrown people before you could replace them…
you already know.
You felt it before you could explain it.
Many people don’t move toward what’s correct.
They protect what keeps their reality intact ( even if it’s a facade ).
☕ (Sip.)
U.S. decisions didn’t get smarter.
They got more comfortable.
Not based on outcomes,
based on what feels familiar.
That’s why:
Less capable people rise through likability.
Clear signals get ignored if they create tension.
And environments select for ease over accuracy.
Economically:
• Adverse selection
• Information asymmetry
• Principal-agent misalignment
Not theory. Daily behavior.
Most didn’t miss it.
They adapted to survive inside it’s Matrix.
And You stayed longer than you should have.
🫁 (Exhale.)
Because most never leave.
They just get better at operating inside it.
I walked away.
Because misalignment isn’t neutral.
It’s self-betrayal.
So for 2027, I’m selecting differently.
Not more people.
Fewer. Correct ones.
LinkedIn says I’m a high-efficiency relationship engine.
…but it’s been fed the wrong inputs.
My bottleneck isn’t:
• communication
• trust
• influence
It’s who I allow in.
Like: you didn’t struggle to find people.
You struggled to find the right ones.
Because the wrong ones often look right at first,
so you gave them a chance,
And that caps everything after.
👉 Not because of you
👉 Because of who you’re connected to
You’ve been in that room:
Everyone agrees… nothing moves.
Insight lands… gets ignored.
And you too realize:
“I’m not in the wrong field.
I’m in the wrong environment.”
So I’m refining selection.
Because when alignment is right:
• Trust moves faster
• Ideas execute cleaner
• Capital flows easier
I’m building something real.
Not something that performs when the camera is on.
I don’t need more relationships.
I need better ones.
I was never behind.
I was never hard to work with.
I was surrounded.
And now I’m accessing the correct environments.
